A Savior Is Born

"The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light. For those who live in a a land of deep darkness, a light will shine. You will enlarge the nation of Israel and its people will rejoice... For you will break the yoke of their slavery and lift the heave burden from their shoulders...

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us.The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven's Armies will make this happen!"
Isaiah 9:2-7

The birth of Christ sets God's divine plan in motion. It is evidence of His grace and kindness toward us. Jesus came to this world with one purpose: to save us. Christ's incarnation is the culmination of our heavenly Father's love for us.

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

May you experience the Father's love this Christmas as you reflect upon the birth of the Savior.

Merry Christmas!
